The City Museum-building is closed for renovation
The City Museum, situated in a 17th century palace next to Slussen, is closed for renovation.
We plan to reopen on January 18, 2019 with a new permanent exhibition focusing on stories of Stockholm. New exhibition spaces mean that many never-before-seen objects can be displayed. Stockholm’s history is an adventure, and you will get to experience it in a brand new way! During the time for renovation we organize city-walks every day, some of which are in English.
Join us on a guided tour this summer
We offer the hugely popular Millennium tour, a medieval walk in Gamla stan, an introduction to the architectual gem City Library and the grandious Woodland Cemetery. Summer walks in English 2018
