In this guided tour, you will hear about horrific deaths, a masquerade ball that changed history and a very demanding Queen.

How was it possible to execute one hundred Stockholmers right in the Old Town square? Also get the intriguing story about the assassination of King Gustav III at a masquerade ball and the lynch mob that assaulted Marie Antoinette’s lover Axel von Fersen.

Plus how our Queen may have caused the death of French philosopher Descartes, as she insisted on having vivid philosophical discussions during ungodly hours. Poor Decartes of course had to full-fill the Queen’s wish.

Guide is singer and actress Lena Lövdahl.

This walk is wheelchair and stroller friendly.
